Double Feature: Red Riding hood

Hello followers Lev again and i'm here to tell you guys about Red Riding Hood PG-13. Ok first of all I read the book and it was amazing so I'v been counting down the days until I would go see this film and let me tell you something, it is a really good film. Ok so this film is about a girl named Valerie that lives in a little town called Daggerhorn which is plauged by a werewolf. Valerie feels torn between 2 men. A boy named Peter that she's been in love with her whole life, and a boy named Henry Lazar who her parents just wed her to. The towns people each sacrifice a animal each night to the wolf so the wolf does not kill a person. But when a tragic death happens to valerie's family no one stays safe from the wolf. Ok I think kids from 13 and up should see this because theres a lot of kissing, a lot of blood, and some scenes may be scary for kids under. But this movie isn't scary so don't get fooled by the trailer because it isn't scary at all. Ok first of all as I said before I loved this film. The cinematography was amazing and breath taking. The only thing that I didn't like was how there was a lot of shaking. But I understand why they did that because they wanted to make it from the wolfs point of view. Ok now the cast is very good! Amanda Seyfried played Valerie, Gary Oldman played father Solomon, Billy Burke played Cesaire, Shiloh Fernandez played Peter, Max Irons played Henry. But another great thing was the music it kept you in suspense, also in the movie its a guessing game for who's the wolf. You'll be very shocked when you find out who the wolf is. Overall great cast, and I highly recommend to read the book and see the movie because there both amazing. So go get your tickets now!!!!!!!

Wimpy kid Greg Heffley is now in 7th grade. He thinks he finally understands middle school and he has gotten rid of the cheese touch. But his older brother Rodrick is still treating him badly. Ok so the cast is, Zachary Gordon who playsGreg Heffley, Devon Bostick plays Rodrick Heffley, Rachael Harris plays Susan Heffley, Robert Capron plays Rowley Jefferson, Steve Zahn plays Frank Heffley, Grayson Russell plays Fregley, Karan Brar plays Chirag Gupta, Laine MacNeil plays Patty Farrell, and Peyton R. List plays Holly Hillis Ok so I think kids 6 and up will like this film. So I really wanted to see this movie because it looked hilarious, and because the books are very funny. The Kings Speech with dad

Hello followers, i'm sorry I haven't written for a long time but I'v been very busy. Now this review is on the award winning movie The Kings Speech which is rated R. Ok first of all I loved this film and I think its a film that everyone should go to see because its truly inspiring. Ok so for those who don't know what this film is about I'll tell you. Its about the 6th king of England who has a speech problem. His problem is that he stutters. But as the king of England he has to give very important speeches. So basically it's about how he learns to speak clearly. But the thing is that this is during world war 2 so he has to say one of the biggest speeches in the world to unite his country as one against the Nazis. But this movie is very inspiring because it shows how even a king has a speech problem and how he overcomes it to unite his country. Ok this movie has a very good cast. Colin Firth plays King George 6, Geoffrey Rush plays Lionel Logue aka his doctor, Helena Bonham Carter plays Queen Elizabeth, and Guy Pearce plays King Edward the 8th. Ok I thought everyone was amazing and I am truly happy that this movie won so many awards because it really deserved it. Ok now I think this movie is good for kids over 11 that are interested in history. But since this movie is R a lot of you parents are probably saying "no this is inappropriate for my child" but the only reason why this movie is rated R is because during one the therapy sessions he gets angry and starts cursing and saying the F word. But really thats the only reason why this movie is rated R, and I think kids would get a kick out of this film. But for those of you who are saying "I don't care I still don't want my child to see it" well a PG-13 version is coming out soon which is without that scene. So if thats the only reason you don't want your child to see this then you should really take your child out to see it because its an amazing and inspiring film. Ok so go see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday with dad and True Grit

Hello followers today I will be talking about, True Grit. First of all when I found out that this was a book I got the book because I like to read the book before the movie, I don't know thats just how I am. Ok so the book was really good so I'v been excited to see this movie, and me and my dad both wanted to see it really badly so we finally got to see it and lets just say it deserved a lot of Oscars. Ok so for those of you that don't know what this is about I'll tell you. True Grit is about a 14 year old girl named Mattie Ross who goes to Fort Smith Arkansas after the death of her father by a man they hired to help them with their business. So Mattie avenges her fathers death by chasing after the the killer hoping to kill him like her killed her dad with two U.S. Marshals by her side. Ok first of all I loved this film and the book! Just to let everyone know this is a remake from the 1969 classic starring John Wayne. And they have to have someone to play Rooster Cogburn who is also as great of an actor as John wayne is. So they get Academy Award winner Jeff Bridges! Ok so now I'll tell you who played who. Ok Jeff Bridges plays Rooster Cogburn, Josh Brolin plays Tom Chaney. Matt Damon plays Laboef, Hailee Steinfeld plays Mattie Ross. So I also wanted to see this movie very badly because all the people up there except for Hailee Steinfeld I know and love. But I was so happy because I wasn't so sure that she was going to do a good job but she did an amazing job! Ok so I think you should at least be 9 to see this movie because its not scary at all theres only like 3 scenes with blood and well its an american master peace. But I still can't believe they didn't get a oscar because I really think they should of. So go now and buy your tickets because trust me you wont be sorry.

Time to Tango with the Rango

Hello followers, whats new? Well today I will be reviewing The NO.1 movie in the box office for the weekend of March 4th. RANGO! Ok first of all I loved this film! It had amazing animation and a great cast. OK I went to this film with my best friend vicky and we both loved it!!!!!Ok so for those of you who don't know what this is about I'll tell you. Ok the film Rango is about a chameleon named Rango that falls out of a car and into the wild west aka nevada. Suddenly he finds himself becoming the cherif of a town called Dirt. Soon enough he finds out that theres a big problem with the water supplies in the town. This problem is that the water isn't going in the city and that theres only a limited amount of water supply that will run out any day now. But this town is also a place where a lot of criminals go and try to rule this town. While Rango brings a group of civilians to help him with the water supply they also run into a lot of criminals, that might have something to do with the shortage of the water supply. Ok so I knew I had to see this once I found out that it is the new Johnny Depp film, because I love Johnny Depp. So as I was watching this film there was a lot of pleasant surprises. First off this film also has Abigail Breslin in it and I love Abigail she's amazing. Ok so here's the cast Rango is played by Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher plays Beans, Abigail Breslin plays Priscilla, Ned Beatty plays the mayor, Alfred Molina plays roadkill. And Bill Nighy plays Rattle Snake Jake. As you can see this is a very good cast. Ok so the animation was amazing because you could see every scale and feather of each animal I hope I see this kind of animation in more movies to come. Ok now comes the part of how old kids should be to see this film. Ok this film isn't really the best for little kids because its inappropriate, For example around the end of the film the snake says "sign the damn papers" and someone else says "go to hell". Also Rango looks at a barbie doll and looks right at her breasts and says are those real. Also they talk about death alot like theres a mariachi band that sings about death. So as you can see you should be catious if your deciding on taking your kid. But this movie is hilarious!!!! I laughed a lot. So I say go and buy tickets now! Because It's truly an amazing film!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gnomeo and Juliet in 3D worth it or not?

Hello followers I just got back from a movie called Gnomeo and Juliet. I saw this film in 3D and well let me tell you something its pretty hilarious. Ok so I knew I had to see this movie once I found out that James McAvoy and Emily Blunt where in it. Ok so this movie is an animated movie and the animation was very captivating because it was very colorful. Ok so as you may or may of not been able to tell from the title this story is shakespeare "Romeo and Juliet" but turned into a little kid version, and instead of it being about humans it is about a very common things Gnomes. Ok so the main idea of this story is that there are 2 houses right next to each other the red house and the blue house. The red house is territory to the red gnomes, and the blue house is territory to the blue gnomes. They both hate each other very very much. But the royal son of the blue gnomes name is Gnomeo and the royal princess of the red gnomes name is Juliet. One day they meet each other and fall in a deep love, but once they learn that the other one is there enemy they question if there able to be together. And they see if true love really can change all. As I said the animation really was amazing and breath taking. This movie is rated G. Now is the 3D worth it? Some scenes it is but theres very few worth it scenes. So I say go out and see this now because trust me you wont be sorry.

Beastly with best friend Chloe

Hello followers whats up? Today I'm going to be blogging about a really good movie called Beastly which I saw with my best friend Chloe. Ok I first knew I wanted to see this movie when I found out that it was like a remake of beauty and the beast which is a good story and once I knew that Alex Pettyfer, Mary-Kate Olsen, and Neal Patrick Harrison is in it. Well because there amazing actors. Also because I recently read the book and I loved it. Ok so this movie is about a boy that is super rich and who has perfect looks named Kyle that gets transformed by a witch named Kendra in his English class into a person with a lot of tattoos and piercings. The reason why he get's transformed into this is because he's a very mean person that only cares about looks and makes fun of people that don't have perfect looks. During this time he finds out that he only has a year to find someone to love him for whats inside of him and not for what he looks like. During this time he takes a girl named Lindy inside his house to protect her from a man that wants to kill her. As I already said this movie has a really good cast I just don't like one of the people thats in this movie. Ok so Alex Pettyfer plays Kyle, Vanessa Hudgens (who I don't really like) plays Lindy, Mary-Kate Olsen who plays Kendra, Neil Patrick Harris who plays Kyle's blind teacher named Will. Ok I really don't think that this movie is approprite for kids under 10 and some of the scenes may be scary, but manly because they say a lot a lot of curse words. This movie is also PG-13. But another thing that got me very angry with this film is how many things they changed from the book. For example theres one part in the book where kyle runs inside a subway station and police come but that wasn't in the film so I was angry also Kyle is supposed to turn into a beast like a werewolf but in the movie he turns into a guy with piercings and tattoos. So I highly advise everyone to read the book and see the movie because there both really good. BYE!!!!!!!
